Privacy Policy

GymTracker is a free iOS app developed by Bruno Tortato Furtado ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use GymTracker.

We are committed to your privacy. GymTracker is designed to work entirely on your device, with no accounts, no tracking, and no data collection.

GymTracker does not collect any personal information. All data you create within the app is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

The data you generate while using the app includes:

• Workout programs and training days
• Exercises, sets, reps, and weights
• Workout session history
• App preferences and settings

This data is entirely user-generated and remains on your device at all times.

GymTracker does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Health or fitness data from HealthKit or any health framework
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Photos, contacts, or any other device data

GymTracker uses Firebase, a Google platform, for the following services:

• Firebase Analytics: collects anonymous usage data such as screen views and app events to help us understand how the app is used.
• Firebase Crashlytics: collects anonymous crash reports and diagnostic data to help us identify and fix issues.
• Firebase Performance Monitoring: collects anonymous performance metrics such as app startup time and network latency to help us improve the app experience.

These services collect anonymous, aggregated data only. No personally identifiable information is collected or shared. GymTracker does not include any advertising SDKs or tracking pixels. For more details on how Firebase handles data, see the links below.

All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. An App Group container is used solely to share data between the main app and its widget/Live Activity extensions.

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including device passcode and encryption. We do not have access to your data at any time.

GymTracker may request permission to send local notifications for rest timer alerts during workouts. This permission is entirely optional. Notification data is processed locally on your device and is not sent to any external server.

GymTracker does not automatically share any data. The only sharing that occurs is when you explicitly choose to share a workout summary using the iOS share sheet. This action is entirely user-initiated and controlled by you.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, it persists until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling GymTracker permanently removes all associated data from your device.

GymTracker does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. Since the app does not collect any personal data from any user, there is no risk of inadvertently collecting data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
